Marc Maron San Jose Concert reviews
Trace Adkins new CD??
The first 40 minutes on stage for Marc Maron featured mostly new music from his latest CD that was unfamiliar to the audience. He seems to be experimenting with different music styles, and while I appreciate his boldness, I was hoping to hear more of his classic hits. His new patriotic track Semper Fi was received positively, and I believe it has the potential to become a hit.
The crowd enjoyed the second 40 minutes of Maron's set, which consisted of a mix of his popular hits.
Unfortunately, Maron's performance lasted less than 90 minutes, leaving both me and the audience wanting more. Some attendees even demanded refunds as they left the venue dissatisfied.
The sound quality was subpar, with the music overpowering Maron's vocals, and the timing issues persisted throughout the performance. The band appeared unpolished, as if they had only rehearsed together once, with some members possibly missing rehearsals altogether.
After much deliberation, I have decided to leave this review. While I typically give positive feedback, I would likely skip Maron's future concerts in our area.
